Courtney Cooper has competed for the last 20+ years with different horses in most aspects of English riding competition, although she focuses on Eventing. In recent years, Courtney has created a niche for herself in the industry by specializing in consignment sales, and making successful horse and rider matches.Courtney has lived in southeastern Pennsylvania since 1996. She actively teaches, buys and sells horses, trains and competes from her own C Square Farm in Nottingham. Like many eventers, Courtney heads south for the winter, basing herself in Aiken, South Carolina.As an active competitor, Courtney competes with both the event team horses and many of the horses for sale. She has competed through the Advanced level, including starting the Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event.Most recently, Courtney has been successfully competing at the Intermediate level with C Square Farm homebred Who's A Star ("Tag"). He has competed successfully at Intermediate with first place finishes in 2011 at Fair Hill and Morven Park. His record for the year earned him the National Silver Stirrup Upper Level Eventing Championship (2011) and the Intermediate Level Championship (2011 and 2010).Following close on his heels is another C Square Farm homebred, R Star ("Hope"), who recently competed at the 2011 Young Event Horse Championships. Courtney has also recently acquired two exciting prospects, Vegas Run and Sport. Vegas retired from the racetrack in the summer of 2011 and completed his first Preliminary in the spring of 2012. Sport is another racetrack find who is eagerly tackling his new career.
