About

2006 Bay 16.2hh German Warmblood Mare; Owned by the Phoenix Syndicate Cheyenne was imported in 2010 and started her competitive career with Michael during the summer of 2011. She placed 2nd at her first novice at New Jersey Horse Park. She is a phenomenal jumper and a quick learner – definitely one to keep your eyes on for the future. Cheyenne Blue has yet to make up her mind about how much she likes the United States. She is SO grateful that they use quality European food, as she does not want to become part of the American obesity statistic. She also does not trust the cosmetologists here in the US, even if they are Canadian, and won’t let them touch her valued locks. Yet somehow she keeps waking up completely disoriented with her ears and nose feeling fairly bald.

Thank you to the Phoenix Syndicate which owns Ballingowan Pizazz and Cheyenne Blue. The goal of Pollard Eventing is to have four horses in contention for the 2014 World Equestrian Games. The recent loss of three of its top horses has meant a refocus to stay committed to that goal. Consequently, Pollard Eventing is offering two syndication options with the aim of replacing its equine talent. To widen the appeal and in an effort to spread risk, Pollard Eventing will be pairing one of its rising stars, at its own expense, with a horse purchased with syndicate buy-in funds. This means that new syndicate members would be able to buy in to two separate horses for the price of one. Additionally, Pollard Eventing will be keeping the maintenance cost per share at a level that covers only competition and insurance expenses. There are currently three open shares and if you would like to speak to a syndicate owner we will be happy to put you in touch.
