ABOUT

Ballylaffin Bracken is a 17.3 hand Irish Sport Horse gelding born in 2000 in County Tipperary, Ireland. He is Irish-bred by one of the world’s leading event and show jumping sires Ricardo Z and out of the Irish Sport Horse mare Ballylaffin Florence. Ballylaffin Bracken was imported from Ireland by Kristin in 2004. Since his arrival, he has successfully competed at international competitions throughout the United States and Canada. As an Alternate Team Member for the 2011 Pan-American Games, Ballylaffin Bracken trained with Captain Mark Philips in Ocala, Florida in October of 2011. He was also awarded a 2011 USEF grant to compete at Galway Downs in California where he placed 8th. In 2012, Rox had another terrific season, finishing 1st in the year-end PRO Tour Series Haygain Horse of the Year points standings. The future is very bright for this exciting horse! Most recently, Rox finished 25th in his 4* debut at Rolex 2013.
